The mission of TechSchool.org is to provide resources and education for underprivileged, under-educated, and under-employed teens and adults. We will provide technical training and resources to teach entry level or novice Internet users to both use and develop Internet Websites and content.

The process of training will include using the Internet to:

• Browse with Internet Explorer & FireFox browsers
• Search with Google, Yahoo, MSN and directory specific sites
• Use e-mail with web browsers & Outlook/Outlook Express - How to use Spam and Virus protection programs and safely determine which attachments to open or discard
• Use Anti-Spyware and Firewall programs - Including installation, configuration & updates

The progression of training will take the students through one or more the following programs:

• Web page composition & design
• Graphics Design & Photo Rendering
• Server Maintenance & Security
• Database Design & Programming
• Search Engine Optimization & Paid Internet Advertising Techniques
• Portal Construction, Security, User Account Management

Our programs are designed to qualify candidates for career building entry-level positions. Upon completion candidates will be prepared to enter the workforce in specialized capacity to work with current technologies and possess a skillset to transform their future.
